Use Spatial Scanner.
Scan QR codes from screenshots, shared images, dropped files, and direct image links on Apple Vision Pro.
Scan a QR code from Mac Virtual Display
- Keep Spatial Scanner open beside the QR code.
- Press the Digital Crown and top button together to take a screenshot.
- Return to Spatial Scanner and scan the latest screenshot. You can also select the screenshot with the photo picker.
- Open, copy, or share each decoded result.
Share an image to Spatial Scanner
- Open an image in Safari, Photos, or another app.
- Open the system Share menu.
- Select Scan with Spatial Scanner.
Spatial Scanner accepts image data and direct web image links. A direct image link is downloaded only so the image can be scanned locally.
Drop an image into the app
Drag an image, image file, or direct image link over the Spatial Scanner window. Release it when the mint drop target appears. The app scans the received image immediately.
If no QR code is found
- Use the original image instead of a small preview.
- Confirm that the entire QR code is visible and sharp.
- Leave space around the code when you crop it. Spatial Scanner adds quiet-zone padding automatically, but source detail still matters.
- For a web link, confirm that the link opens an image rather than an HTML page.
Contact support
Send the source app, image type, and diagnostic message to doug@lance.ventures. Do not send a sensitive QR image unless you are comfortable sharing its contents.
